Workers' Comp Policy Check

Enter the class codes, payroll and rates from your own policy. The free preview shows which codes we can check in your state, how many potential issues we found, and what your premium recomputes to. The full report is $49, one time.

Built from the figures state rating bureaus file — never from an estimate. Where your state publishes no figure we have, the report says so. Our sources and method.

2. Each class code on the policy

From your declarations page or rating worksheet: the code, the annual payroll for it, and the rate per $100 of payroll. Optional: one line on what those employees actually do — that is what lets us spot payroll-split opportunities.

3. Optional

Your inputs stay in this browser. Nothing is stored on our servers unless you buy the report, when they travel with your Stripe payment so the report can be rebuilt.

What the full report covers

  • For each code: the class description, and the filed loss cost or rate where your state publishes one we have transcribed — New York, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Delaware filings, and Ohio BWC base rates — with the multiplier your rate implies.
  • Payroll-split and standard-exception opportunities the rules support: clerical office (8810), outside sales (8742), remote clerical (8871), and supervisor or estimator payroll in construction classes.
  • What your experience mod adds or saves, and your premium recomputed line by line.
  • A premium-audit prep checklist and a short script of questions for your agent.
  • Printable — use your browser's Print or “Save as PDF”.

A filed loss cost is not a rate: carriers multiply it by their own approved loss cost multiplier. So the report frames any difference as a benchmark gap to ask your agent about, not as overcharging.

States this check can read

Filed per-class benchmarks: New York (NYCIRB loss costs), Wisconsin (WCRB rates), Pennsylvania and Delaware (PCRB and DCRB loss costs, in those bureaus' own class numbers) and Ohio (BWC base rates). Other states that use NCCI-numbered classes get the class, payroll-split, mod and premium checks without a rate benchmark — the preview tells you which before you pay. California (WCIRB's own system), North Dakota, Washington and Wyoming are not supported. See rates by state and the class code directory for the underlying figures.
